Roebling Hall incorporated in Brooklyn NY in 2000, dedicated to providing a venue for artists whose ambitious projects often challenged the confines of gallery exhibitions. After several incarnations, Roebling Hall is now located at 606 West 26th Street in Chelsea.
The gallery retains many of the original artists who have grown with the gallery over the past years, keeping a strong continuity with its origins and intent of programming. Artists like Eve Sussman, Christoph Draeger, Sebastiaan Bremer, Bjorn Melhus and Courtney Smith all continue to excel and push the boundaries in their various mediums.
With our physical expansion we have enlarged our program with additional artists, ranging from younger artists like Melanie Baker, David Ellis and Erik Benson to mid-career artists like Reynold Reynolds, Ray Smith and Nelson Leirner, the latter a legendary Godfather of Brazilian conceptualism. Our gallery mission remains to produce and exhibit large-scale projects such as the following video works we have co-produced and exhibited over the past two years. These include "The Rape of the Sabine Women" by Eve Sussman and the Rufus Corp., as well as feature length video works by Christoph Draeger and Gary Breslin, Bjorn Melhus and Reynold Reynolds.
